Great Things to Do in Korea

오! 필승코리아 오! 필승코리아 오! 필승코리아
Romanization : " Oooh Pilsung KOREA, Oooh Pilsung KOREA, Oooh Pilsung KOREA"
In the past, when I heard someone said "KOREA", the first think that occured on my mind is Korean Drama. But nowadays, when I heard "KOREA", I'll think about Running Man and K-Pop, but don't worry... I won't forget about Korean Drama.  I was falling in love with Korea because of the three things that I mentioned before. After I watched the Running Man, I really want to visit South Korea. Why?? Because when the Member did the mission, the game shows that there are still plenty of landmark that must be visited in Korea.

If KOREAN AIR, KTO, and buzz KOREA give "Gennie in the Bottle" to me that can grant my wish. Ohh, Of course I would love so. There are a lot of things that I want to do if I could go to Korea. If I list the wishlist about the things that I  want to do may be it will take 2 Days 2 Night, hohoho just kidding (because there are too many things that made me curious about Korea). But, I'll make it more specific so we can generate it to the most things that I want to do in Korea.

A. Football always life in my heart

I really love football and I watched the World Cup 2002 that held in South Korea and Japan (but only on Television, ohh Poor me!!). One think that was occurred to me was that Korean people LOVE their National Team Squad, which at the time was the name of Park Ji Sung and Ahn Jung Hwan become so famous. I got goosebump when all the people in the Stadium sang the chant that have this phrase:

대한민국!! Prok prok prok prok prok....
대한민국!! Prok prok prok prok prok....

Oh, that made me amazed with the way of Korean people support their football team. So, I decided If I go to South Korea, I want to watch the football game (maybe Qualification fase og World Cup 2014) that hold on the Seoul World Cup Stadium. And I want to sing the chanting together with all the people in the stadium (that will be an honour for me to cheer up the team), like in the following video :

B. Your life is not complete without food

I've heard from my 선생님 that if I go to Korea, it will be great if I try to taste many kind of food from Korea. And there are some foods that made me curious to try it. The first food that made me curious about the taste is Patbingsoo (Korean shaved ice dessert). I want to taste the flavors of this dessert. Patbingsoo originally began as ice shavings and sweetened azuki beans. In contemporary culture, it has become a very elaborate summer dessert, often topped with ice cream or frozen yogurt. Hmmm.. It sounds Yummy..
The other kind of foods that I want to taste is Bibimbap (비빔밥 , that means "mixed rice"). Bibimbap is served as a bowl of warm white tice topped with namul and chilli pepper paste. A raw of fried egg and sliced meat are common additions. The ingredients are stirred together  thoroughly just before eating. Therefore, I want to visit Jeonju to taste the most famous Bibimbap in Korea
Traveling to korea is not complete without kimchi. It means I would like to know more about the history of kimchi. And to answer all my curiosity, go to the Kimchi Field Museum in the basement of the COEX Mall is the right choice.
The last but not the least from food section, I want to learn how to make delicious Kimchi directly from the native Korean mothers because many people say that the most delicious Kimchi is made by the mother.

C.  Life would be empty without the entertainment
As we know, there are lots of different types of stage shows in Korea. From all the many types of performances that exist in Korea, there are two kinds of performances that I really want to watch

The first is Nanta Cookin', this show is amazing. I want to watch a live show of Nanta and I want to hear the rhytmic banging of knives, pots and pans that they create from the show. I love this performance because the show involves acrobatics, magic tricks, comedy, pantimine and audience participation.

The other performances that I want to watch are Marionette show, JUMP show and Ballerina Who Loves A B-Boy show. That show is a show that must be seen before you leave Korea, otherwise we will regret it.

D. Vacation is not complete without traveled
It's means that there are many places must visit in Korea and

  • I want to visit the Teddy Bear Museum that located in Jeju island. Why would I want to go there? Because only in these museum we can see "teddy" that wore Hanbook. The teddy bear in these museum show us the hostory of Joseon Dinasty with the cute way, it feel like watching the historical drama of Korea or we can called it Sa Geuk. And if it allowed, I would like to take photos with teddy bear that appeared in the Goong drama.
  • I want to rest in Jimjilbang and I want to try to use this kind of towel (see the picture below). Jimjilbang  is a curious mix of sauna, spa and entertainment facility and also doubling up as the country’s cheapest form of accommodation.
  • Seoul Museum of Chicken Art, this museum is an extraordinary. Why? Because this museum only exhibits diverse chicken art from farious culture around the world. And the thing that I want to do here is I want to find out if there are "chickens" that come from Indonesia.
  • Because I've watched a lot of  korean historical drama, I keen to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace. The name of the palace, Gyeongbokgung, translates in English as "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven". Hmm, such a great name. This palace is a royal palacbut note located in northern Seoul.
  • The last but not the least, I want to play in the world's biggest theme park, LOTTE WORLD. There is also an outdoor section: Magic Island, connected to the indoor area by monorail. It’s also possible to go ice-skating or bowling in other parts of the complex.
There is still a lot of things I want to do in korea, I hope I can win these competition so  I can realize all my expectations above.
